The Void

 Greetings, blog! Here I am, ready for the first post...entry...whatever this is. Does it even matter what I call it? The fact is, I'm doing the damn thing! For my entire life, I've wanted to keep a journal of some sort, but I never actually follow through with it. I either start and then give up after a short amount of time, or I think about doing it but never actually start. This time is going to be different. I won't let myself give up.

I want a lot of things to be different "this time." Before I start at my new school, there are some changes I'm going to make. Want to see what they are? Let me make a nice little list for you!

1. Lose weight

2. Updated wardrobe

3. Healthier eating habits

4. Get up earlier

5. Go to bed earlier

6. Be more active

7. Spend less money

Seems like a lot, but there are so many things I want to change and/or improve. Am I biting off more than I can chew? I do love a cliché.

Honestly, the exercising and eating healthier coincide with one another, and in turn I would be more active (hence the working out). So really, it's not that much. Plus, I need to push myself. I've been lazy for far too long. It's time I kick myself into gear, because I am definitely not getting younger. As I sit here typing this, I am 32 years, 2 months, and 20 days old. How do I know, you ask? Well, the new online system for MNPS (that's Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools) that I'll be using tells me! How cool is that? Or creepy... I think I'll stick with cool.

Anyways! Let's get on with it, shall we? So, this blog is going to be a bit of everything. It's going to be me, the daily happenings, whatever life throws at me. One day it might be a funny teacher story, while the next is a fun cooking recipe that C and I try. Another could be a tragic yet intriguing tale of trip gone wrong. No matter the content, I'll be here, writing and updating the internet void. Because, let's face it. Nobody is actually going to see this except me.

Let me be clear, I am VERY okay with that. A little brain dumping site for all the craziness up there. I mean up here. Who exactly am I talking to?
